Brand New | Freshly Squeezed
Gary Swenson (Co-Owner & Co-Founder) of Freshly Squeezed grew up just a couple hours north of St. Petersburg in Brooksville, FL. You could have found him skating the old Island Skatepark in Mazaryktown any day of the week. His passion for skateboarding eventually led to a passion for streetwear and sneakers. So Gary packed up and moved to southern California, where he completely immersed himself right in the middle of the streetwear and sneaker industry, living and breathing it for over a decade. California is also where Gary met his fiance Victoria Phipps (Co-Owner, Co-Founder, and Backbone of the operation). Recently, Gary and Victoria moved back to Florida and decided it was time to do their own thing.
Freshly Squeezed is a streetwear shop whose mission is simple…to consistently bring the newest and freshest gear to St. Petersburg. Whether it is a bigger, more well-known brand, or a small, local, or up-and-coming brand, Gary & Victoria’s passion for all of them is just the same. Not only do they live it, work it, and wear it, but they also have personal relationships with most of the lines that they carry. With their 10 + years of experience and personable and professional attitudes, you will leave not only happy and looking fresh, but educated as well. Gary & Victoria meet once a week for strategy meetings and their current future plans for Freshly Squeezed are to continue to grow and to develop their own line. So, please do yourself a favor and get over to Freshly Squeezed, chat with Gary and/ or Victoria, and get yourself (or someone else) tightened up with some “fresh” new gear.
Freshly Squeezed’s current lines include: HUF, FUCT, The Hundreds, Lime Almost Lemon, CBNC, So It Seems, and No Comply Skateboard Mag.

Brand New | Loser Wheels
Loser Wheels is a Brand New wheel company out of Lakeland, Florida. If you aren’t from Florida, you probably have never heard of Lakeland. But, it seems as though there is something in the water in Lakeland, because the Lakeland crew is, and always has been passionate about skateboarding. Lakeland is the hometown of a dude named Andrew Reynolds…maybe you’ve heard of him?
Anyway, these wheels are the real deal. Not too wide, not too thin, simple yet refined, grippy when they need to be and forgiving when that is necessary. A durometer of 99a seems to be perfect for a versatile wheel. Loser Wheels also has you covered on size as well. The “Worm Burners” (pictured above) are available in 51, 52, 53, 54, 56 and 58mm. So, whether you skate the crusty streets of Florida or Vert Ramps and Big Bowls, Loser Wheels has got your back.
I caught up with Justin Spangler the Owner of Loser Wheels recently to ask him a few questions about his new venture.

Brand New | Percent Apparel
Brand New is the “Product Review” feature on the mag, where we will showcase new brands, old brands’ new products, etc. Today we bring you Percent Apparel. Percent Apparel is an up-and-coming apparel company based on simple, straight-forward philosophies. The homie Nick Murphy rides for Percent Apparel, and if Nick supports it, I know it’s legit. My personal favorite is the “Porktasium”…who wouldn’t love to peel back a banana and find bacon!?!? – Nicks.
