The story behind the Skatepark of Tampa is one that is crazy and rich in history, and is one that every skateboarder should hear. The Skatepark of Tampa, has not only done so much for skateboarding in the Tampa Bay area and in Florida, it has been an important part in progressing skateboarding all over the world. Next year, the Skatepark of Tampa celebrates 20 years, it is amazing to think about how far they have come. I don’t think they are going anywhere soon. Enjoy!

Etnies Europe Tampa Montage
Etnies Europe riders Axel Cruysberghs, Douwe Macare, and friends were in town a few weeks ago for the 2011 Tampa Am. When Axel didn’t make the cut, they headed out on a filming mission, hitting up some familiar Tampa street skating spots, and of course, the Bro Bowl. 2011 Tampa Am: New Street Course
The 2011 Tampa Am is this weekend, and as is the case every year, the street course has a whole new look. The first evening that it was skateable, Jeremy Knibbs, Josh Wilson, Dylan Perry, PJ Castellano, Manny, Porpe, Chris Jata, Tom McKessy, Steve Buggica, and Nick Wilton shredded it after-hours.
