Saturday night during Tampa Am weekend is always the night for the huge party/ show. This year’s party was extra big considering it was the 20-Year Anniversary Party. When the evening starts off with antics from the “Senator”…things are bound to get epic. Cuates, The Shrine, Killer Mike and Souls of Mischief all provided killer sounds and entertainment all night long, while the staff at CZAR kept the drinks flowing. – Nicks

I stopped by Part 2 of 4 of the 93 ‘Til Infinity art show series at The Bricks last weekend. Four of the many decks that were submitted by various artists for the show were chosen to be printed on limited edition Skatepark of Tampa boards and will be available for sale all across the world. There were also a bunch of killer old classic photos of some pretty legendary people skating the park over the years. Check the Upcoming Events page on the mag for all the festivities. Also, be sure to check out SPoT 20 Year Experience Episode 3 with Felipe Gustavo below. – Nicks

Skatepark of Tampa has a little edit of the festivities from The Bricks and SPoT Skateshop Ybor Two Year Anniversary Party from a few weekends ago. Nick Murphy, Jake “Poptart” Welch, Garrett Miller and Yoda came over from Orlando to put a beat-down on the Insta-Ramp.

Tampa local Joshua Wilson came through with another sick montage. Tom’s Diner features raw street skating, Tampa style, with: Darrell Gordon, Dimitri Rangos, Andre McKenzie, Jyrus Ferguson, and James Cobb. Filmed and Edited by Joshua Wilson.
The Bricks and SPoT Skate Shop Ybor celebrated their 1st birthday on Saturday night, and in typical SPoT fashion they threw a rager. They even built a mini-ramp out back just for the occasion. The ERGO team was in town and they got in on the action as well. Nobody does it like the Skatepark of Tampa. Check out this nice little montage of all of the evening’s festivities. Filmed and Edited by Joe Pelham.

Flogging Molly is playing at The Ritz Ybor tonight and after the show, The Bricks is hosting the Flogging Molly “Unofficial” After Party. Matt Hensley, Flogging Molly’s accordion player, also happens to be one of the most influential street skateboarders of all time…which gives me an idea for this week’s “Time Capsule Thursdays”.
