Bradenton “River Walk” Skatepark Update

Well, here is the first conceptual design for the Bradenton River Walk Skatepark from the folks over at Hardcore Skateparks Inc. We were all pulling for Team Pain Skateparks to win the bid, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. This is just a CONCEPTUAL rendering, and not the final approved design, but it is a starting point. What would you change or not change about it? Also, keep in mind, that the street section to the left, where you see the two sets of three pilings coming out of the ground, will be covered by the US41 bridge. Make sure to check back often for updates as this whole project moves forward.

American Ramp Company bought the rights to Hardcore Skateparks in 2010 so they can make money off their name since ARC received so much bad press about their crappy parks. This design looks like a complete ripoff of Grindline’s design. There is no way that this little design cost only $10k less than Team Pain’s awesome design. Unless, of course they pay people who don’t skate to pour their crete. Oh wait that’s right, NOBODY at Hardcore actually skates, posers!
