For those who don’t know us…. we’re a Florida underground mag featuring some of the best up and coming talent the state of Florida has to offer. Owned and operated by Nick Nicks a skateboarder, photographer, husband, and proud father. No Comply Mag is focused on highlighting the endless talent the great state of Florida seems to produce.

We’re hyped to collaborate with Orlando based clothing brand Domain Apparel. Owned and operated by skateboarder and entrepreneur Nick Murphy.

We have a pretty killer sequence of Domain owner Nick Murphy doing a lengthy backside blunt slide through the corner at the Maitland Quarters back in 2010. Curious to see that sequence? Click the link here to scope it.

Domain x Colonial Ramp Technologies “East Coast Excellence”

Photo: @domain_apparel

Owned and operated by Dougie Death, New England’s DIY mastermind and keeper of Hell Gate in Allston, MA. If you don’t know Doug… you’re blowing it. This Og punk rocker has been barging pools with some of skateboarding’s most known while you were in diapers. The frontman of numerous bands and a wizard on the plank. The definition of “100% Skateboarder” and not to mention a UMass graduate.

Doug’s always traveling looking for that new spot to build or destroy. Domain’s “East Coast Excellence” CRT x Domain collab is a tribute to Doug’s dedication and selfless contribution to skateboarding on the East Coast. Printed on a mustard yellow fine jersey tee with discharge ink, that sets right into the shirt. Meaning it’s printed right into the tee leading to no cracks or wear on this print. Like Doug’s craftsmanship, these tees will last the test of time. Follow the link here to get yours before they’re gone.

Domain x All I Need Skateboards “East Coast Connection”

“All I Need Skateboards” is owned and operated by professional skateboarder, Anthony Shetler and based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Shetler has been pro for companies like 5 Boro, Zoo York, and currently World Industries. Being featured in Zoo York’s “State of Mind” video and numerous appearances in skate mags. He’s an all-around good dude and his positivity is unmatched. Being born in Brockton, MA. A rough city and knowing his fair share of hardships and adversities, Anthony’s rise in skateboarding is an inspiration to many on the East Coast.

Another 100% Skateboarder who’s always out in the trenches and dropping hammers. We’re stoked to have gotten the opportunity to collaborate with such a rad East Coast brand. For more on “All I Need” check out their website and subscribe to their Podcast.

Brand New | Freshly Squeezed

Gary Swenson (Co-Owner & Co-Founder) of Freshly Squeezed grew up just a couple hours north of St. Petersburg in Brooksville, FL. You could have found him skating the old Island Skatepark in Mazaryktown any day of the week. His passion for skateboarding eventually led to a passion for streetwear and sneakers. So Gary packed up and moved to southern California, where he completely immersed himself right in the middle of the streetwear and sneaker industry, living and breathing it for over a decade. California is also where Gary met his fiance Victoria Phipps (Co-Owner, Co-Founder, and Backbone of the operation). Recently, Gary and Victoria moved back to Florida and decided it was time to do their own thing.

Freshly Squeezed is a streetwear shop whose mission is simple…to consistently bring the newest and freshest gear to St. Petersburg. Whether it is a bigger, more well-known brand, or a small, local, or up-and-coming brand, Gary & Victoria’s passion for all of them is just the same. Not only do they live it, work it, and wear it, but they also have personal relationships with most of the lines that they carry. With their 10 + years of experience and personable and professional attitudes, you will leave not only happy and looking fresh, but educated as well. Gary & Victoria meet once a week for strategy meetings and their current future plans for Freshly Squeezed are to continue to grow and to develop their own line. So, please do yourself a favor and get over to Freshly Squeezed, chat with Gary and/ or Victoria, and get yourself (or someone else) tightened up with some “fresh” new gear.

Freshly Squeezed’s current lines include:  HUF, FUCT, The Hundreds, Lime Almost Lemon, CBNC, So It Seems, and No Comply Skateboard Mag.

Stay out of the mall and SUPPORT LOCAL! Get down to Freshly Squeezed this Friday for their “Black Friday Sale”…Everything in the store is 25% off! Yep…everything! – Nicks

Brand New | Loser Wheels

Loser Wheels is a Brand New wheel company out of Lakeland, Florida. If you aren’t from Florida, you probably have never heard of Lakeland. But, it seems as though there is something in the water in Lakeland, because the Lakeland crew is, and always has been passionate about skateboarding. Lakeland is the hometown of a dude named Andrew Reynolds…maybe you’ve heard of him?

Anyway, these wheels are the real deal. Not too wide, not too thin, simple yet refined, grippy when they need to be and forgiving when that is necessary. A durometer of 99a seems to be perfect for a versatile wheel. Loser Wheels also has you covered on size as well.  The “Worm Burners” (pictured above) are available in 51, 52, 53, 54, 56 and 58mm. So, whether you skate the crusty streets of Florida or Vert Ramps and Big Bowls, Loser Wheels has got your back.

I caught up with Justin Spangler the Owner of Loser Wheels recently to ask him a few questions about his new venture.

Brand New | Percent Apparel

Brand New is the “Product Review” feature on the mag, where we will showcase new brands, old brands’ new products, etc. Today we bring you Percent Apparel. Percent Apparel is an up-and-coming apparel company based on simple, straight-forward philosophies. The homie Nick Murphy rides for Percent Apparel, and if Nick supports it, I know it’s legit. My personal favorite is the “Porktasium”…who wouldn’t love to peel back a banana and find bacon!?!? – Nicks.

Where is Percent Apparel based out of?
Percent Apparel started in NYC, then we spent some time in New England where we gained notoriety for skate and music events in Boston and Providence. Percent Apparel headquarters recently relocated back to NY, but we still host events in those cities and have plans to continue to expand.
How did you come up with the name?
We wanted to create something that was inspired by the percentage of individuals that were not influenced by the mainstream media and hype, but rather do things for themselves based on passion and love.
What is the inspiration for your designs?
Extreme sports, music, creativity and positivity.
What does the future hold for Percent Apparel?
Only time will tell, but we’re always looking to get into new endeavors. We’ve recently revamped our skateboarding and BMX teams and are pumped to be endorsing a bunch of new musical acts such as Gemstar, Hard Target, 51 Shortfalls and Red Theory to name a few. We have some awesome new designs in the pipeline and are planning a big NYC launch party during the summer to celebrate the new line and new website. The best way to  find out about news and upcoming events is to “like” Percent Apparel on Facebook (www.Facebook.com/PercentApparel) or visit www.PercentApparel.com.
