Congratulations to ArtDeckO for taking 1st Place Judges Award last night at Realize Bradenton’s ArtSlam 2011. Geza Darrah and crew put together a hell of an event. Here are some words straight from the ArtDeckO Facebook page: “!!!!!ArtDeckO WON 1ST PLACE JUDGES AWARD at ARTSLAM, BRADENTON.. A CITY BUILT OF COLOR AND CULTURE.. IN ONE DAY. Our team took over a block with our spontaneous creation of skateboarding, building ramps, wall ride, halfpipe mixed with live art, graffiti, live bands, Dj, and stencil workshop for all ages painting their own skateboards and t-shirts.. WOW what a success everyone involved and THANKS so much for your participation to make something like this happen in the middle of DOWNTOWN BRADENTON..” I managed to get several photos, while also skating, meeting cool new people, and having a great time. Cheers…looking forward to next year’s ArtSlam. – Nicks.
