In 2013, the Skatepark of Tampa will be celebrating their 20 Year Anniversary. Part of the celebrating has already gotten underway with 93 ‘Til Infinity, a 4-part artshow series at The Bricks. 93 ‘Til Infinity features 20 different artists creating artwork from their own personal experiences at SPoT through the years. Part 1 took place a few weeks back and Sean Orr was on hand to snap some photos (see below). Skatepark of Tampa’s photos are here. Part 2 of 93 ‘Til Infinity is coming up on Saturday, November 17th at The Bricks and also includes the release of Moat Water, which is SPoT’s 20th Anniversary Brew from the folks at Cigar City Brewing!
Also, to help celebrate SPoT’s milestone, every Wednesday from now until the Tampa Pro in March, the RIDE Channel will air a new episode of Skatepark of Tampa 20 Year Experience. 20 different Pros, Ams, and industry leaders share their personal SPoT stories and experiences with you. Check out the Intro with SPoT founder Brian Schaefer and Episode 1 with Stefan Janoski below.

We are pleased to announce the newest feature on No Comply Skateboarding Magazine…‘Til The Wheels Fall Off.
‘Til The Wheels Fall Off is a skateboarding culture project and the brainchild of Jason Stephens. ‘Til The Wheels Fall Off and Jason are going to fit in perfectly here at No Comply, welcome aboard!
“Well, we found a new home here at No Comply Skateboarding Magazine, and things are gonna pick up right where they left off. This page will focus on skate culture type stuff such as bands, hot rods, choppers, tattoos, pinups, as well as skateboarding. We are based out of the Orlando, FL area, but we will also be covering national events, artists and skaters. Feel free to contact Jason Stephens at firstname.lastname@example.org any ideas you have for us, and any submissions you want to talk about.”
’til the wheels fall off,
To get things started, here’s a classic:
This Friday, April 15th is the SRQ SK8 JAM at P(a)yne Skate Park in Sarasota. Sk8skool and Ringling College of Art & Design’s Business of Art & Design’s Project Management Class got together to bring you this great event. Your $5 donation gets you an evening of skating, live music, live graffiti, artist booths, and food & drink. All of the proceeds go to Sk8skool for the continued maintenance and operations of P(a)yne Skate Park and also to the long-term goal of eliminating the user-fees altogether! Click here for all of the details about this event.
This Friday, April 8th, “Hip To Be Square” opens at The Bricks. Square-shaped artwork from 50 Florida artists in a variety of mediums…FREE…and Drink Specials all night long. Simple as that.
Introducing the No Comply Magazine Store. The No Comply Magazine Store will feature, local artwork, local music, limited edition t-shirts, skateboard decks, and various other related items. Not much there yet, but look for lots of new stuff in the next few months.
