“Spring Roll” All Ages Contest @ SPoT

Here is footage courtesy of Colin Clark and the Skatepark of Tampa of the ripping that took place this past Saturday at the Spring Roll All Ages Contest. The contest was presented by DVS and Matix and Luis Tolentino, Marty Murowski, Brandon Biebel, and Daewon Song were there hanging out and skating Friday evening and Saturday. Needless to say, everyone was tripping over themselves to watch Daewon skate. Anyway, looks like it was a great time with plenty of shredding going on. Colin Clark, staff filmer at the Skatepark of Tampa is putting together a comprehensive video of the 2011 Tampa Pro. The video will include, not only the sick skating that went down, but also behind the scenes interviews and all of the Skatepark of Tampa inner-workings that go into making the Tampa Pro one of the biggest and best contests in the world. The video will be available on iTunes on April 25th for 99¢.

Tampa Am 2010 – Ishod Wair Friday Qualifying Run

Check out this flawless qualifying run from Ishod Wair yesterday that earned him the “Golden Ticket”, which takes him straight to the finals on Sunday. Sounds like Ishod is the favorite to take the whole thing this year. With skating like this I can see why!
