Construction is starting soon on the Bradenton Riverwalk Skatepark. Below are 4 different views of the design/ layout of the park. Keep in mind that the absolute final design will probably have a couple of little tweaks, based on some input that was gathered by Team Pain Skateparks at the recent design meeting. But, the basics are 17,000 sq ft, 4.5′ x 5.5′ x 8.5′ Bowl, a very diverse and modern street course with the west-end portion covered by the US41 Bridge…oh, and it sits right on the Manatee River. I think we are all getting pretty “Stoked” about this!
This evening is the design input meeting for the new Bradenton Riverwalk Skatepark at Bradenton City Hall. Representatives from Team Pain Skate Parks will be there listening to your input about how the skatepark should be designed. Get off of Facebook long enough to show up and have your real voice heard!
Well, here is the first conceptual design for the Bradenton River Walk Skatepark from the folks over at Hardcore Skateparks Inc. We were all pulling for Team Pain Skateparks to win the bid, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. This is just a CONCEPTUAL rendering, and not the final approved design, but it is a starting point. What would you change or not change about it? Also, keep in mind, that the street section to the left, where you see the two sets of three pilings coming out of the ground, will be covered by the US41 bridge. Make sure to check back often for updates as this whole project moves forward.
