Unfortunately, the “Legends” Vert Session at the 2013 Tampa Pro turned out to be only about an hour of practice between storms. It was a hell of a lot of fun while it lasted though! I managed to get a few good shots, and a pretty heated bowl session resulted because of the rain. Make sure to tune into the live web-cast at 2 p.m. EST HERE. – Nicks
Theories of Atlantis just released Joel Meinholz’s part from MIA Skateshop’s first ever full-length, Welcome to MIA. Welcome to MIAwas released in 2010 and easily is one of the best videos to ever come out of Florida…it is a must have for your permanent collection. Joel’s part is beastly…enjoy!
Filmed and Edited by Josh Stewart.
I have been stoked on Joel’s skating for a long time. So, when there were, what seemed to be long periods of time that new footage of Joel was hard to come by, it left me wondering when I would get to see more. Then, in 2010 when Welcome to MIA, the MIA Skateshop video came out, I was pleasantly surprised to see that Joel was skating just as hard and raw as ever. Since that time, Joel seems to be everywhere. Between new footage, new sponsors, and promoting events through IamYourVillain & Bum Rush The Spot, he seems to be unstoppable. – Nicks
