Here is the second promo for In The Cut, which is an independent skateboarding film by Marshall Nicholson. Marshall spends time between Louisville, KY and Ft. Myers, FL and this film documents the underground talent in both of those places. Look for the full-length soon.

So, last week this video of of Roberto Jimenez doing a backflip to 50-50 on a mini-ramp was all over the internet. Roberto is a local at Gator Board Shop in Sebring, Florida, and this week he came back with a backflip to manual! This dude is a backflipping machine, I want to see a backflip out now Roberto. Both videos filmed and Edited by Brandon Knowles.
I AM Skateboards is a brand new company based out of both Boca Raton, Florida as well as
Chattanooga, Tennessee, and was started by friends Joe Staltare and Brian Morales.
The company has been around for about 4 months, and they already have their
decks in 6 shops in 4 states. The boards come in sizes 7.75″ – 8.38″ and $1 of every
board they sell goes to a non-profit. Right now they are holding a contest in
which you upload a video to their website, and the winner gets a deck and a
t-shirt, plus a “premier” of the video. The summer plans for these guys include:
starting a team and getting the boards in as many Florida shops as they can.
When I asked Joe what brought this about he said, “We love skateboarding, we have
a passion for it. We just want to give back to what has given so much to us. I’m
excited to see how this goes.” Look for I AM skateboard decks and t-shirts at
Faith Skate Supply in Birmingham, AL, Comfort Skate Shop in Chattanooga, TN,
Found Skatepark in Elijay, GA, and Flipside Skateshop, Flatspot Board Shop and Island Water Sports in Florida.
